HACKATHON IN AUGUSTA On Friday, February 23rd, Rural Sourcing is joining forces with the United Way to code for a cause. The United Way of the CSRA unites people and mobilizes community resources to create lasting changes that transform lives. We need your help-- join us for an afternoon of volunteer coding that will greatly impact children in the CSRA! What is a hack·a·thon you ask? /ˈHAKəˌthän / noun: a Hackathon (also known as a hack-day, hackfest or codefest) is an event in which computer programmers and others in the field of software development, like graphic designers, interface designers and project managers collaborate intensively on a software related project for a set amount of time As always, there will be food, swag, and PRIZES! As a 2018 RSI hacker, you and your team will be given all the info needed to complete the coding project. When the last bit of code is compiled and presented, winning teams will be selected. To get started, grab your laptop and register. You can register as an individual or as part of a team (4 max! per team). If you don’t have a team, no worries! We’ll pair you with other coders. If you are not able to participate, we still welcome you to stop by, grab a bite and connect with our team and other coders from our community.
